Connecticut Education Network (CEN) Annual Conference

Connecticut Education Network (CEN) Annual Conference

CEN’s fifth annual conference is  May 12th 2017 at the Convention Center in Hartford.  As part of the conference, we have worked hard on bringing together speakers and topics of interest to our members.  Specifically with libraries in mind, we will have sessions focused on: filtering for Erate including a Q&A session by Maria Bernier from the CT State Library and a presentation from iboss, CEN’s filtering vendor on how to configure your settings and additional information on how categories are classified and next steps in the Erate process.  Other sessions will focus on technologies of interest to libraries regarding 3D printing by Jeff Spivey from Coventry Public Schools and uses of MakerSpace in libraries by Amanda Brouwer of Douglas Library, Hebron.  Check out our full schedule here.

As we want to ensure you can join us, CEN is offering library attendees a reduced registration price of $55 (rather than $75) until Feb 28th.  This includes breakfast, lunch, free parking and a wine and cheese reception at the end of the day.  Please use code CTlibraries when you register.
