Book Trailers for Advanced Beginners

Book Trailers for Advanced Beginners

Book trailers are like movie trailers, but for books. This book trailer class is for those who have already taken a book trailer class or who have some (advancedbeginner) prior knowledge of digital photos and movie making skills. The class will cover fine tuning book trailers using an online video creation website (Wevideo or similar) and may cover the basics of iMovie as time allows and if some participants wish to bring iPads with iMovie loaded. Participants should bring headphones and have an email address they can check in class.

  1. To create and edit book trailers containing images and music
  2. To add captions, image zooms, and fades to the book trailers
  3. To discuss ways to upload book trailers to websites and social media
  4. To film video using an iPad, export it into iMovie, and use basic editing techniques to create a book trailer
