Library Marketing with Canva Videos
Videos can be useful ways to share your Library’s story with your community. Use Canva videos to advocate for your library’s materials, services, programs, or even a fundraising campaign. In this hands-on, introductory class, participants will learn how to make videos using the online design site Canva. Additionally, students will become familiar with the Canva video environment and will create an advocacy video with a variety of elements. Participants will work on their own design during the workshop and will finish the class with a project they can use at their library. This is a beginner class - however, prior experience with Canva will be useful, and participants who are on a free account may have a more limited experience than those on a Pro account. Participants should have a Canva account (free or Pro) before the class.
Since this is a small group workshop, participants will need a computer with a camera and microphone so they can share thoughts and ask questions throughout the class.
