Bigger on the Inside: Programming for Small Spaces (Free Webinar)

This is a free webinar from Programming Librarian

Is your library's event space feeling a little cramped? Do you worry that your library doesn't have enough space to do the programs you want to do? Join us for this free one-hour webinar for ideas and inspiration for hosting exceptional programs at your library, even with the most limited space.

Drawing from her decade of experience as the director of a small, rural New York library, Hope Decker will offer tips and tricks to help you maximize your library's event space, ranging from design tricks to how to make the space itself seem larger. She will also share innovative program ideas that are perfect for tiny areas.

Participants of this session will:

  • Explore new ways to use the space you have more efficiently, from your stacks to the library walls
  • Discover specific program ideas that work well in small spaces
  • Learn how to see your space limitations as an opportunity for creativity and new partnerships
