Building Community Engagement with Burbio - a No Maintenance Community Calendar (Free Webinar)

Building Community Engagement with Burbio - a No Maintenance Community Calendar (Free Webinar)

This is a free webinar information session from Burbio.

In many communities, patrons would like to be more involved but just finding out about when events are happening can be a full time job with each local organization having their own website, social media, e-newsletter or other means of communication. Typically there's, no easy source that brings all of the information together. That's where the library can serve a role in bringing the community together and offering a platform to create a community-wide calendar that allows local organizations to maintain their own calendar information but brings everything together into one place.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify the opportunity that exists within your community and how you can help community organizations and patrons benefit
  2. How to get your library on the Burbio platform
  3. How to maximize participation by other local community stakeholders

Registration for this session is required. A day before the event, we will send you the link so that you can join the webinar.

Presenter: Julie Roche is Co-founder of Burbio.com a free community calendar sharing platform used by libraries and local municipalities throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
