$25 CLA members

$35 Non-CLA members

Event description:

Academic Libraries engage in targeted outreach to invite the campus community member’s voice to help create, refresh, and market our programming, services, and resources. Librarians and library staff must constantly adapt approaches to actively seek out the input of students and faculty. Lisa Thornell, CULS Chair and Student Engagement & Outreach Librarian at Fairfield University’s DiMenna-Nyselius Library, will give a presentation on “Engaging & Empowering Student Voices: From Club Outreach, Surveying, to a Student Library Advisory Board”. Dr. Carl Antonucci, Library Director and Kristina Edwards, Acquisitions Librarian of Central Connecticut State University, will give a presentation on their experience with the EXCITE Transformation for Libraries program. Presenters will facilitate a group ideation session at the conclusion of the presentation and a Google Doc will be created and shared.
