Digital Documents\n\nThis series consists of five workshops that focus on
creating documents that are accessible for people who use screen readers
and/or keyboards to navigate through digital content. The goal of this
series is to provide library workers in CT with foundational knowledge
needed to create accessible digital documents that comply with the
Department of Justice’s (DOJ) 2024 Title II ruling on the accessibility
of Web Content and Mobile apps provided by state and local
governments.\n\nWorkshops in this series will focus primarily on the suite
of applications that are part of Microsoft’s Office 365: Word\, Outlook\,
PowerPoint\, and Excel. The fourth workshop in this series will also cover
the basics of creating accessible PDFs. \n\nPresenter: \n\nMatt Geeza
serves as the director of the CT Library for Accessible Books (CT LAB) and
the Middletown Library Service Center (MLSC) with the CT State Library
Division of Library Development.\n\nRecording and Slides:\n\nThis program
is being recorded\, and the recording and slides will be made available on
the TIAL LibGuide.\n\nWho Should Come?\n\nThis series is perfect for any
library worker that creates materials using Office 365 applications. It
will be especially helpful for anyone who creates documents that are made
available on a library website or meant to be distributed to library
patrons. \n\nAccessibility \n\nThis webinar will be captioned. If you
require another access service to participate fully\, please use the
